Something a little lighter for today. I’ve been wracking my brain trying to think of interesting stocking stuffers this year. I’ve scoured gift guides and talked with friends and co-workers and found a few decent suggestions. I’m dropping some links below in case you need ideas, too.
Winky Lux Lip Balm
This is a fun (and pretty) pH lip balm that turns “your shade” of pink based on your body’s pH. Gimicky, maybe, but by all accounts, the color becomes a lovely subtle shade. (Thanks to Lesley for the tip!)
The Popular Londontown Kur Nail Set
This polish is recommended by women in so many Facebook Groups I belong to and in loads of gift guides.
Morf Fidget Worm Toy
These are more for teens and adults. Fun, but they don’t hold up to full-blown kid abuse. :)
Calma Llama
Basically the cutest way to relieve stress, and oh is there stress right now.
Foam Ear Tips for AirPods
Ideally, foam ear tips should be replaced every 1-3 months. These come highly rated and are very comfortable. And here’s another, less expensive option.
Loops Ear Plugs
Loops come in a variety of types: Experience, for concerts, sports, live events, these reduce the decibels without distorting the sound; Engage, reduce background noise and focus on clear speech in social situations; Quiet, these reduce the most noise for sleep, travel, and focus.
Super Bright, Waterproof Mini-Flashlight
These little flashlights are perfect for the car, backpack, purse, and small enough for a pocket. They come in red, blue, and black and the price is excellent for the quality. We own a few of these.
Apple Pencil Replacement Tips
Super practical, but not something people (our kids) think to buy. Recently bought this off-brand 4-pack and they fit great.
Lamy Safari Fountain Pen
Somewhat niche gift idea, but if you have a pen-lover in your life, the Lamy Safari Fountain Pen is a fun, good-looking, not-too-heavy pen to write with. And when many (not nearly as good) fountain pens start at $50, the price on these is just right. Ink refills are reasonable, too, and come in a variety of colors. I have this pen and write with it all the time. I love it. They also make an excellent rollerball pen, but the fountain pen is just so fun. :)
Good Quality Charging Cables
These are my favorite charging cables. They last a long time and come in fun colors like the one above. They also come in both black and white. And don’t forget the plugs (I really like these Anker Nano Fast-Chargers), and Car Adapters (this one two ports: USB-A & USB-C). *Side note: after buying loads of crappy cords and chargers, I mostly stick with Anker brand now.
Kindle Hand Strap
Game changer if you’re a Kindle reader. Multiple colors/patterns and reasonably priced.
Mini Sticker Printer
My girls got these sticker printers for their birthday last year and they’re a lot of fun. Comes in several colors.
Pimple Patches
We like these best of all the ones we’ve tried. But these look fun.
Bob Ross Mini Paint by Numbers
This is a fun little random stocking stuffer. My art-loving kid thought this was awesomely cute when she got it last year.
Mini Box Cutter
We have a few of these around the house. Much safer than scissors or an actual box cutter. Super useful and stocking-size. (But if you need an actual box cutter, I hear this is the one to get.)
And . . . don’t forget things like fun dental floss, cool toothbrushes, gum, candy, mints, and lotto tickets.
Feel free to add to the list in the comments.
xo,
Beth
Thanks for sharing this. I used some of your ideas!😉
